your free simple words little drawings summer collection

how to download + use it (video tutorial)

Flat lay of postcard prints featuring lifestyle photographs with handwritten words and simple doodles from the Simple Words & Little Drawings collection, arranged with coffee, a pen, shells, and coral on a rustic wooden table.

welcome — and thanks for signing up for the notebook.

as a little gift, i made this mini collection of Simple Words & Little Drawings for you.

a small set of hand-drawn words and illustrations to layer onto your photos, stories, journals, and creative projects.

if you’ve never used PNG overlays before, here’s exactly how to get them onto your phone and start using them.

video tutorial: add png’s to your phone

step 1: download the collection from Dropbox and save to your photos.

after signing up, you’ll receive a Dropbox link. video tutorial below or…

open that link on your phone.

from there:

  • tap the check mark (upper right corner)

  • tap the three dots (upper right corner)

  • choose Select all

  • tap the three dots (lower right corner)

  • choose Save Images

all the png overlays (images) are now in your phone’s camera roll.

i recommend creating an album inside your photos called SWLD, so everything stays together and you can easily access them anytime as they will get buried once you add more photos to your phone.

step 2: create an album on your phone.

once the collection is in your photos:

  • tap on your Library

  • tap Select

  • tap or swipe along each png to select

  • tap the three dots (upper right corner)

  • select add to album

  • create new album - tap the + (upper right corner)

  • name the album SWLD

  • tap create

video tutorial: how to use SWLD in instagram

step 3: add them to Instagram stories

this is the fun part.

to use your SWLD overlays in Instagram:

  • open Instagram stories

  • choose your photo or video

  • tap the Sticker icon

  • scroll down and tap Photo

  • select one of your saved SWLD PNGs

  • resize and place it anywhere on your story

that’s it.

layer them over coffee photos, flowers, walks, journal pages, garden moments, market mornings — anything you want.

they’re meant to add a little personality without overcomplicating things.

other ways to use them

these aren’t only for Instagram.

you can also use them for:

  • digital journals

  • goodNotes

  • scrapbooks

  • planner pages

  • phone wallpapers

  • postcards

  • recipe cards

  • blog graphics

  • gift tags

anywhere you want to add a small hand-drawn detail.

a small note

this is the first mini collection.

a simple starting point.

a few words. a few drawings. small things to layer into everyday life.

i’d love to see how you use them.
